The company, the Finnish Delta Cygni Labs (HQ Tampere Finland + Hamburg, Germany) develops and distributes the remote collaboration software POINTR (cloud-based SaaS solution), which enables direct communication (video/audio) between technicians in the field with technical experts and/or other colleagues or customers.
The aim here is to impart the required knowledge directly on site in order to optimize process times and to serve customer concerns faster and more professionally. Our software runs as an app (iOS, Android and Huawei), but can also be played on standard PCs and smart glasses (software download at www.pointr.it). The installation takes a maximum of 5-10 minutes per device. Due to our roots in space travel, we attach great importance to high data security standards and best image quality at low data rates. POINTR is the remote collaboration solution for “critical missions” and the only solution of its kind that can also be used in the People’s Republic of China (“China Approved – cross border”). POINTR is also used on ships. Communication is secured via satellite or mobile LTE networks. By means of a standard API, POINTR can already be integrated into other CRM software systems (e.g. SalesForce, Servicemax, etc.)
